After completing my Degree in Nursing in 2011, I worked in different areas of nursing between Spain and the United kingdom. But my passion has always been “women’s health”, and providing support during pregnancy, birth and puerperium. I chose to train and work as a midwife in London due to the respectful woman centred approach that is practiced there, and for the power in decision-making and involvement women have in their own pregnancies. At present I’m working part time at the London Homerton Hospital, and as a health educator and home birth collaborator in Spain. In this course my aim is to facilitate the most actual evidence-base information to enable women to make informed choices. Through a mix of theory and fun practice you will learn the tools that will help you and your partner achieve a positive birth experience.
